recently i had the opportunity to listen to one of Imam Siraj Wahaj’s khutbas titled “The disease of the heart” .. i thought i’d share the message from the khutba .. this is how it goes …

no matter what a person does … u can have credentials from the top islamic universities of the world .. u can read all the prayers u want … u can do all sorts of good deeds … none of this would matter if your heart is impure … u can read the person Quran .. hadeeth .. none of this would make a difference if the heart is dirty … we will not change because the most important part of our body is filthy .. so pray that Allah cleanses our hearts
